Abstract
Republika Slovenija je država u srednjoj Europi koja se nalazi na kontaktu Alpa, Panonske nizine, Dinarida i Mediterana, obuhvaća 20.273 km² te ukupno graniči s četiri države. Slovenija je posebna jer na malom prostoru objedinjuje raznolikost svojih pokrajina dok su kulturna i prirodna baština objedinjene u jednu cjelinu. Upravo po tome, prvenstveno očuvanoj prirodi, jezerima, planinama, razlikuje se od drugih turističkih destinacija. Završnim radom opisane su turističke regije koje svojom turističkom ponudom svake godine privlače sve više gostiju, no nije im želja biti dio masovnog turizma. Slovenija, kao turistička destinacija, nudi poseban doživljaj i ugođaj od zelenila, Alpa, Mediterana, nizine te daje dobar primjer kako iskoristiti prirodne potencijale. Njezin glavni grad Ljubljana jedan je od najzelenijih gradova Europe te odražava sofisticiranost velike metropole, ali i šarm malenog grada. Predmet završnog rada je analiza geografsko-turističkih specifičnosti Slovenije. Opisivanje turističkih regija i posebnosti raznih turističkih destinacija Slovenije cilj su i svrha pisanja rada.
Abstract (english)
The Republic of Slovenia is a country in Central Europe, centered around the Alps, Pannonian Basin, Dinaric Alps, and the Mediterranean, covering 20,273 km² and bordering four countries. Slovenia is unique because in a small area it unites the diversity of its provinces while the cultural and natural heritage are united into one whole. For that reason, primarily for its preserved nature, lakes, mountains, it differs from other tourist destinations. The final paper describes the tourist regions that attract more and more guests every year with their tourist offers but are not a part of mass tourism. Slovenia as a tourist destination offers a special experience and atmosphere of greenery, the Alps, the Mediterranean, and the lowlands, providing an example of how to use its natural potentials. Its capital Ljubljana is one of the greenest cities in Europe. It reflects the sophistication of a large metropolis, but also the charm of a small city. This final thesis aims to the analysis of geographical and tourist specificity of Slovenia. The purpose of writing this paper is to describe tourist regions and the peculiarities of various tourist destinations in Slovenia.
