Abstract
Hotelijerstvo predstavlja djelatnost koja se bavi uslugama pružanja smještaja, prehrane, točenja pića, prodaje usluga, kao i rekreacije. U hotelu gostima se pružaju navedene usluge kako bi na što bolji način zadovoljili njihove potrebe i postigli konkurentnost na tržištu. Da bi imali optimalno poslovanje, hoteli moraju ispunjavati određene uvjete. Ti uvjeti se odnose na ponudu smještaja, opremljenost hotela, ljubaznost osoblja, marketinške kampanje, briga o korisnicima usluga hotela, kao i mnoge druge. U ovome radu naglasak je stavljen na planiranje cjelokupnog hotelskog poduzeća kao i kvaliteta usluga koja se pruža hotelskim poduzećima te stav gostiju na određenu razinu kvalitete poduzeća, također na primjeru Hilton & Resorts stavlja se naglasak na poslovanje hotela, pokazatelje uspješnosti, kao i pokazatelje aktivnosti i zaduženosti tog hotela. Financijski izvještaji kojima se analizira uspješnost te osigurava podloga za donošenje poslovnih odluka prikazani su na primjeru Hilton & Resorts. Za potrebe istraživanja korištena je stranica Bisnode.hr, kao i informacije iz uprave hotela Hilton.
Abstract (english)
Hospitality is an activity that provides services of providing accommodation, food, drinks, sales of services, as well as recreation. The hotel provides this services in order to meet their needs and achieve competitiveness. In order to have optimal business, hotels must meet certain conditions. These conditions apply to the offer of accommodation, hotel equipment, courtesy of staff, marketing campaigns, care for hotel service users, as well as many others. In this paper, the emphasis is placed on the planing of the entire hotel company as well as the quality of services and attitute of guests to a certain level of quality also on the example of the Hilton & Resorts the emphasis is placed on its business, performance indicators, as well as indicators of activity and indebtedness of the hotel. Emphasis is also placed of financial statements that analyze preformance and provide business decisions on example on Hilton & Resorts. For the purposes of the research, the Bisnode.hr website was used, as well as information from the Hilton hotel management.
