Abstract
Od zdravstvenog i topličkog turizma do korištenja u zagrijavanju prostorija te proizvodnju električne energije, geotermalne vode imaju široku primjenu. Kako bi se iskoristili potencijali geotermalnih resursa gospodarenje njima trebalo bi biti znatno ekonomičnije i racionalnije nego do sada. Sve u svrhu da bi se u budućnosti održivo i na dobrobit ukupnog društva iskoristili geotermalni resursi što za dobivanje električne energije, što za grijanje te specifično u turizmu unutar toplica, wellness i spa objekata. Geotermalne vode sadrže značajan energetski potencijal za sektor grijanja i hlađenja na nacionalnoj razini te za proizvodnju električne energije na lokalnoj razini. Objekti koji koriste geotermalnu energiju mogli bi biti energetski samodostatni turistički objekti s niskim okolišnim footprintom, obogaćeni atrakcijama koje se mogu osigurati inovativnom geotermalnom uporabom. S obzirom na neiskorišteni potencijal i očekivani rast potražnje za zdravstvenim i kupališnim turizmom, može se očekivati povećano korištenje geotermalnih voda u tu svrhu. Važno je planirati održivo korištenje ovog vrijednog resursa tijekom svake faze razvoja geotermalnih mjesta i potpuno implementirati prekogranična načela zajedničkog upravljanja geotermalnim vodama uključivanjem susjednih zemalja. Potrebno je uložiti više napora u istraživanja te planski i racionalno gospodariti ovim čistim izvorom energije. Ovaj rad nastoji pobliže pojasniti pojmove i približiti primjere geotermalnih, termomineralnih i mineralnih voda u Hrvatskoj te prikazati njihovu primjenu u svakodnevnom životu, što za proizvodnju električne energije, što u zdravstvene i turističke svrhe.
Abstract (english)
From health and spa tourism to use in heating the rooms and electricity generation, geothermal waters have a wide application. In order to use this potentiala of geothermal resources, their management should be much more economical and rational than befeore. All in the purpose of using geothermal resources in the future sustainably and for the benefit of the entire society, both for obtaining electricity, for heating and specifically in tourism within wellness and spa facilities. Geothermal waters contain significant energy potential for the heating and cooling sector at the national level and for the production of electricity at the local level. Facilities that use geothermal energy could be energy self – sufficient tourist facilities with low environmental footprint, enriched with attractions that can be proved by innovative geothermal use. Given the untapped potential and the expected growth in demand for health and bathing tourism, increased use of geothermal waters for this purpose can be expected. It is important to plan the sustainable use of this valuable resource during each phase of development of geothermal sites and to fully implement the transboundary principles of hoint management of geothermal waters by involving neighboring countries. It is necessary to invest more effort in research and to manage this clean energy source in a planned and rational way. This pasper seeks to clarify the concepts and approximate examples of geothermal, thermomineral and mineral waters in Croatia. Also, this paper seeks to show their application in everyday life, both for electricity production and for health and tourism purposes.
