Abstract
Bihevioralna ekonomija, i s njom povezana teorija bihevioralnih financija, bavi se utjecajem društvenih, kognitivnih i emocionalnih faktora na ekonomske odluke individualaca i institucija te posljedicama koje te odluke imaju na tržišne cijene, povrate i alokaciju resursa. Ovo područje ekonomije u središte stavlja iracionalnost ekonomskih agenata. Ključna problematika bihevioralnih financija nastoji istražiti zašto i kako tržišni sudionici čine sistemske pogreške, za razliku od racionalnih sudionika tržišta. Takve pogreške utječu na cijene i povrate, stvarajući tržišne neefikasnosti. Sukladno tome, bihevioralne financije bave se i istraživanjem kako drugi sudionici tržišta iskorištavaju takve tržišne neefikasnosti. Drugim riječima, bihevioralne financije ispituju ljudski psihologiju odnosno način kako ponašanje ljudi može utjecati na financijske odluke. Za službeni početak bihevioralnih financija kao samostalne grane istraživanja uzima se 1979. godina, kada je objavljena knjiga D. K i A. T. Autori otkrivaju da umjesto u izračunavanju potencijalnih ishoda i odabiru optimalnog, ulagači izračunavaju ishode prema subjektivnoj referentnoj točki, kao što je nabavna cijena dionice. Bihevioralno financiranje kombinira rezultate psiholoških studija odlučivanja s uobičajenim modelima odlučivanja u standardnoj teoriji financija. Kombinirajući psihologiju i financije, istraživači se nadaju da će bolje objasniti određene značajke tržišta vrijednosnih papira i ponašanje investitora koji se čine iracionalnima. Stoga se može zaključiti kako budućnost bihevioralnog ponašanja zahtijeva da istraživačka područja korporativnih financija ponašanja i psihologije investitora budu usmjerena na razvoj bogatijih modela ponašanja u financijskom odlučivanju.
Abstract (english)
Behavioral economics, and the related theory of behavioral finance, deals with the influence of social, cognitive, and emotional factors on the economic decisions of individuals and institutions and the consequences these decisions have on market prices, returns, and resource allocation. This area of economics puts the irrationality of economic agents at the center. The key issue of behavioral finance seeks to explore why and how market participants make systemic errors, as opposed to rational market participants. Such errors affect prices and returns, creating market inefficiencies. Accordingly, behavioral finance also deals with research into how other market participants exploit such market inefficiencies. In other words, behavioral finance deals with examining human psychology, that is, how people’s behavior can influence financial decisions. The official beginning of behavioral finance was in 1979, marking the publication of a book by Daniel Kahneman and Amos of Tver. They find that instead of calculating potential outcomes and selecting the optimal one, investors calculate outcomes according to a subjective reference point, such as the purchase price of the stock. Behavioral financing combines the results of psychological decision-making studies with more common decision-making models in standard finance theory. By combining psychology and finance, researchers hope to better explain certain features of the securities market and investor behavior that seem irrational. The future of behavioral behavior requires that research areas of corporate finance behavior and investor psychology develop richer models of behavior in financial decision making.
