Business tourism is a form of tourism that unites two, according to the general definition of tourism, contradictory activities. The main difference between business tourism and tourism in general is in motivation. The main motive of business tourism is work, while in every other type of tourism the dominant motive is leisure, or others (entertainment, culture, sports). In the scientific and professional literature, business tourism is often called MICE tourism, which in translation brings together meetings, incentives, conferences and events, which are the basic categories of business tourism. The main advantage of business tourism is that it takes place throughout the year, ie low seasonality. The focus of the work is to determine incentive tourism within business tourism. Incentive tourism is a special sub-form of business tourism, and can be explained as a tool in the hands of employers that seeks to motivate employees to meet their maximum as well as set company goals, and the best in achieving goals is rewarded with an incentive trip. Monitoring the effects of incentive tourism in Croatia is poorly supported institutionally, although the Croatian National Tourist Board is also making efforts to promote the offer of business and incentive tourism throughout Croatia. The state and possibilities of the incentive tourist offer is presented in the empirical part of the paper.
