Abstract
Mala i srednja poduzeća čine oko 98% poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj i Europskoj Uniji. Imajući u vidu značajne prednosti za hrvatsko i europsko gospodarstvo, važno je istaknuti da za njihov napredak i uspjeh poduzećima treba određeni kapital, a takav kapital mogu osigurati iz različitih izvora. Najčešći izvori financiranja kojima se mala i srednja poduzeća okreću su krediti kod banaka, leasing i faktoring. No osim klasičnih navedenih izvora financiranja postoje i alternativni izvori financiranja koji nisu zastupljeni u istoj mjeri kao i klasični izvori financiranja. U ovom radu obradit će se tematika alternativnih izvora financiranja za mala i srednja poduzeća. Kroz rad obradit će se definicija malih i srednjih poduzeća, definirat će se alternativni izvori financiranja te objasniti njihove prednosti i nedostaci.
Abstract (english)
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) constitute around 98% of companies in the Republic of Croatia and the European Union. They have significant benefits for the Croatian and European economies, but for their growth, development, and success, a certain capital is necessary, which companies can obtain from various sources. The most common sources of financing that SMEs turn to are bank loans, leasing, and factoring. However, in addition to these conventional sources of financing, there are also alternative sources of financing that are not as represented to the same extent as the traditional ones. This paper will address the topic of alternative sources of financing for small and medium-sized enterprises. The paper will provide a definition of SMEs, define alternative sources of financing, and explain their advantages and disadvantages.
