Abstract | Poslovni turizam obuhvaća specifičnu nišu turizma kao što su globalni i diplomatski sastanci,
sastanci između velesila, trgovački i gospodarski pregovori, poslovni sajmovi, konferencije i
konvencije, a broj tih poslovnih sastanaka se svake godine povećava čime se povećava i kapital
samog područja gdje se održavaju. Republika Hrvatska konkurira s drugim europskim
zemljama kad govorimo o poslovnom turizmu zbog svojeg geografskog položaja, kulturne i
povijesne baštine, manifestacija, tradicije te infrastrukture. Republika Hrvatska financijski
najviše ovisi o turizmu, a najveća mana turizma upravo je sezonalnost. Poslovni turizam ovdje
može uzdignuti Republiku Hrvatsku na novu razinu, jer ne ovisi o sezonalnosti te omogućuje
kontinentalnim dijelovima Hrvatske ne samo bogatu poslovnu i turističku ponudu već sezonu
tijekom čitave godine kada se govori o poslovnom turizmu. Isto tako, poslovni turizam može
doprinijeti i dolasku novih turista koji su posjetili neku poslovnu destinaciju i htjeli ju posjetiti
ponovno u slobodno vrijeme zbog prirodnih ljepota, usluge, doživljaja i tradicije. Upravo na
temelju te tradicije grad Opatija privlači brojne što domaće, što inozemne organizatore da
izaberu nju kao poslovnu destinaciju. Opatija ima više od 50 kongresnih dvorana s preko 900
sjedećih mjesta, a osvojila je i nagrade za najbolju poslovnu destinaciju s bogatom tradicijom.
U ovom radu provela se sveobuhvatna analiza poslovnog turizma s fokusom na poslovni
turizam u gradu Opatiji gdje je postavljena temeljna hipoteza koja glasi, Opatija je značajno
središte poslovnog turizma u Hrvatskoj, koja nudi jedinstvene prednosti u usporedbi s drugim
hrvatskim gradovima te je na temelju analize hipoteza i potvrđena, jer se Opatija izdvaja
bogatom poviješću, tradicijom, infrastrukturom, kvalitetom, geografskim položajem te
kongresnim centrima |
Abstract (english) | Business tourism encompasses a specific niche of tourism such as global and diplomatic
meetings, meetings between superpowers, trade and economic negotiations, business fairs,
conferences and conventions, and the number of these business meetings increases every year,
which increases the capital of the area where they are held. The Republic of Croatia competes
with other European countries when we talk about business tourism due to its geographical
location, cultural and historical heritage, events, traditions and infrastructure. The Republic of
Croatia is financially most dependent on tourism, and the biggest drawback of tourism is its
seasonality. Business tourism here can raise the Republic of Croatia to a new level, because it
does not depend on seasonality and allows the continental parts of Croatia not only a rich
business and tourist offer, but also a season throughout the year when talking about business
tourism. In the same way, business tourism can contribute to the arrival of new tourists who
visited a business destination and wanted to visit it again in their free time because of its natural
beauty, services, experiences and traditions. It is precisely on the basis of this tradition that the
city of Opatija attracts numerous local and foreign organizers to choose it as a business
destination. Opatija has more than 50 congress halls with over 900 seats, and has also won
awards for the best business destination with a rich tradition. In this paper, a comprehensive
analysis of business tourism was carried out with a focus on business tourism in the city of
Opatija, where the basic hypothesis was set that reads, Opatija is a significant center of business
tourism in Croatia, which offers unique advantages compared to other Croatian cities and is
based on the analysis of hypotheses and confirmed, because Opatija stands out for its rich
history, tradition, infrastructure, quality, geographical location and congress centers. |
