Abstract
Problematika ovog diplomskog rada su mogućnosti razvoja luksuznog hotelijerstva na otoku Krku s naglaskom na analizu potencijala i izazova vezanih uz unaprjeđenje luksuzne turističke ponude. Rad pojmovno određuje luksuzno hotelijerstvo, njegov povijesni razvoj i detaljno opisuje specifičnost hotelskih usluga. Istraživanjem utjecaja luksuznog hotelijerstva na ekonomiju turizma i analizom trenutne ponude luksuznih hotela u Hrvatskoj razvija se perspektiva za poboljšanje ove vrste objekata.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this thesis is the possibilities for the development of luxury hotel industry on the island of Krk, with a focus on analyzing the potentials and challenges related to enhancing the luxury tourism offer. The thesis defines the concept of luxury hospitality, its historical development, and provides a detailed description of the specific hotel services. By researching the impact of luxury hospitality on the tourism economy and analyzing the current offer of luxury hotels in Croatia, perspectives for the improvement of these types of facilities are developed.
