Abstract
Turizamje temelj iokosnica razvoja hrvatskog gospodarstva.Hotelijerstvo je grana ugostiteljstva koja najviše pridonosi razvoju turizma i koja prema svojoj kategorizaciji i standardizaciji objekata radi razliku između onih konkurentnijih i manje konkurentnih objekata na turističkom tržištu Republike Hrvatske. Radi ipodizanja ikonkurentnosti ihrvatskog igospodarstva, iposebnu ipažnju itreba iposvetiti ičimbenicima ikoji imogu iutjecati ina ipovećanje ikonkurentnosti ihotelijerstva. iU idanašnjemiposlovnomisvijetu icijena ikašnjenja iuvijek ise ivišestruko iplaća. iUpravo iupravljanje ikvalitetom ina isvim irazinama iod ivlasnika, iuprave, ioperativnog imenadžmenta, iradnika, idobavljača ii inaravno iklijenata iomogućava iopstanak ina itržištu. i iUvođenje ipromjena ije inužno, iali ine ii idovoljno iza iosiguranje iuspjeha iu ibudućnosti. iImplementacijom iISO istandarda iomogućavaju ise ibrže ipromjene iu ipoduzeću. iNa itaj inačin ipoduzeća ipostaju iefikasnija ii ikvalitetnija, itime i ipostaju i ikonkurentni i ina itržištu. iISOistandardi imogu ipostati isavršen ialat iza ipočetak iuvođenja ipromjena. iUključivanjem isvih izaposlenika iuvode ise inove iideje iza ipoboljšanjeiteiseipokreće iciklus itrajnogipoboljšanja. iPredmet iovogidiplomskogiradaijeianalize iISOistandardaiuihotelijerstvuiRepublikeiHrvatske.
Abstract (english)
Tourism is the foundation and the backbone of the development of the Croatian economy. Hotel management is thebranchof catering that contributes themost tothedevelopment of tourismand which, according to its categorization and standardization of facilities, distinguishes between those more competitive and less competitive facilities in the tourism market of the Republic of Croatia. In order to raise the competitiveness of the Croatian economy, special attention should be paid to factors thatmay increase the competitiveness of the hotel industry. In today’s business world, the price of a delay is always paidmultiple times over. It is qualitymanagement at all levels from owners, management, operations management, workers, suppliers and of course customersthatenables survival inthemarket. Introducing changeisnecessary, butnotenoughto ensure future success. The implementation of ISO standards enables faster changes in the company. In this way, companies become more efficient and of better quality, thus becoming competitive in the market. ISO standards can become the perfect tool to start making changes. Involving all employees introduces new ideas for improvement and starts a cycle of continuous improvement.The subject of this thesis is the analysis of ISOstandards in the hotel industry of the RepublicofCroatia.
