Abstract
Razvojem turizma dolazi do promjena u navikama turista pa se sve više javlja potražnja za destinacijama koje su bogate prirodnim resursima. Republika Hrvatska prepoznatljiva je po bogatstvu prirodnih resursa no njihova turistička valorizacija nije u potpunosti provedena. Turizam Republike Hrvatske sezonskog je karaktera što čini pritisak na prirodne resurse u ljetnim mjesecima. Ta činjenica utječe i na to da se sve županije u Hrvatskoj ne razvijaju jednakom brzinom te kontinentalni dio zaostaje za Primorskom Hrvatskom. Uz sunce i more turistima treba ponuditi aktivnosti unutar selektivnih oblika turizma kao što su ruralni, eko turizam, planinski turizam i mnogi drugi. Ovakvi oblici turizma utječu na razvoj održivog turizma, smanjuju pritisak na prirodne resurse ljeti i omogućuju prirodnim resursima da postanu turistički vrijedan proizvod na tržištu. U ovom radu istražit će se stavovi lokalnog stanovništva Republike Hrvatske o mogućnostima turističke valorizacije prirodnih resursa.
Abstract (english)
With the development of tourism, there are changes in the habits of tourists, so there is a growing demand for destinations rich in natural resources. The Republic of Croatia is recognizable by the richness of natural resources, but their tourist valorization has not been fully implemented. Tourism in the Republic of Croatia is seasonal, which puts pressure on natural resources in the summer months. This fact also affects the fact that not all counties in Croatia are developing at the same rate and the continental part lags behind Coastal Croatia. In addition to the sun and the sea, tourists should be offered activities within selective forms of tourism such as rural, ecotourism, mountain tourism and many others. These forms of tourism affect the development of sustainable tourism, reduce the pressure on natural resources in summer and enable natural resources to become a valuable tourist product on the market. This paper will explore the attitudes of the local population of the Republic of Croatia about the possibilities of tourist valorization of natural resources.
