Abstract | U suvremenom dobu, hotelijerstvo se kontinuirano mijenja i razvija, suočavajući se s različitim
izazovima i promjenama na tržištu. U središtu ovog rada je detaljna analiza standarda i kvalitete u
hotelijerstvu, i njihov utjecaj na poslovnu uspješnost.
Na samom početku, čitatelja se upoznaje s ključnim standardima koji vladaju u industriji, iznoseći
teme od međunarodnih standarda do specifičnih standarda usluge, sigurnosti i higijene. Sljedeće
poglavlje naglašava ulogu i značaj kvalitete, istražujući načine mjerenja kvalitete usluge te njenu
integraciju u marketinške strategije unutar hotelijerstva.
Nadalje, rad propituje teorijske čimbenike koji doprinose poslovnoj uspješnosti, analizirajući
elemente poput konkurentske prednosti kroz kvalitetu usluge i značaj razvoja ljudskih resursa u
kontekstu hotelijerstva. U četvrtom dijelu, pružen je uvid u metode upravljanja kvalitetom i tehnike
za njeno poboljšanje, uz poseban naglasak na integraciju upravljanja kvalitetom u organizacijsku
kulturu.
Završno poglavlje posvećeno je analizi utjecaja standarda i kvalitete na poslovnu uspješnost, gdje se
metodički pristupa analizi, prikupljanju i interpretaciji podataka, uz demonstraciju primjera dobre
prakse u industriji. Kroz sve ove segmente, rad uspješno odgovara na ključna istraživačka pitanja,
pružajući dubinski uvid u kompleksnu dinamiku i prakse u sektoru hotelijerstva.
Ovaj rad, stoga, služi kao temeljit resurs za one koji žele razumjeti i navigirati kroz složeni svijet

Abstract (english) | In the modern age, the hotel industry is continuously changing and developing, facing various challenges and changes in the market. The focus of this work is a detailed analysis of standards and quality in the hotel industry, and their impact on business performance.
At the very beginning, the reader is introduced to the key standards that govern the industry, presenting topics from international standards to specific standards of service, safety and hygiene. The next chapter emphasizes the role and importance of quality, exploring ways of measuring service quality and its integration into marketing strategies within the hotel industry.
Furthermore, the paper examines theoretical factors that contribute to business success, analyzing elements such as competitive advantage through service quality and the importance of human resource development in the context of the hotel industry. In the fourth part, an insight into quality management methods and techniques for its improvement is provided, with special emphasis on the integration of quality management into organizational culture.
The final chapter is devoted to the analysis of the impact of standards and quality on business success, where a methodical approach is taken to the analysis, collection and interpretation of data, with the demonstration of examples of good practice in the industry. Through all these segments, the paper successfully answers the key research questions, providing an in-depth insight into the complex dynamics and practices in the hotel sector.
