Abstract
Hotel kao i svaka druga poslovna organizacija u svom poslovanju susreće se sa brojnim rizicima. Rizici koji se pojavljuju u hotelskom poslovanju ne trebaju se uvijek promatrati na negativan način, kao prijetnje i opasnosti za poslovanje, već i na pozitivan način, kao prilike i mogućnosti za unapređenje poslovanja. Bitno je naglasiti da se rizici ne smiju ignorirati, te se njima treba baviti, predvidjeti mogućnost njihovog nastanka, mjeriti ih i njima upravljati prije nego što nastanu, a ne... More nakon. Hotel se sastoji od nekoliko međusobno povezanih odjela (prijemni odjel, odjel domaćinstva, odjel hrane i pića, odjel tehničke službe, odjel financija, odjel marketinga i prodaje, odjel nabave), u kojem recepcija predstavlja glavnog posrednika, kako u komunikaciji između istih, tako i komunikaciji tih istih odjela i gostiju hotela, s obzirom da je ona polazna i završna točka tijekom boravka gosta u hotelu. Prijemni odjel hotela (recepcija) zbog svoje specifičnosti i izrazito velikog opsega poslovnih aktivnosti podleže nastanku različitih vrsta rizika, poput financijskih, tržišnih, operativnih, reputacijskih i drugih. Abstract (english)
A hotel, like any other business organization, faces with many risks in theirs business operations. The risks that appear in the hotel business should not always be viewed in a negative way, as threats and dangers for business, but also in a positive way, as opportunities and possibilities for business improvement. Iti s important to emphasize that risks should not be ignored, and that they should be dealt with, the possibility of their occurrence predicted, measured and managed before... The hotel consists of several interconnected departments (reception department, food and beverage department, technical service department, finance department, marketing and sales department, procurement department), in which reception desk represents the main intermediary, both in communication between them, and communication between these same departments and hotel guests, considering that is the starting and ending point during the guest's stay in the hotel.
