Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad stavlja fokus na investicije i turizam u Republici Hrvatskoj te koliko su isplativa i bitna ulaganja za daljni razvoj hrvatskog turizma i cjelokupnog gospodarstva države. Analizirane su velike investicije u hotele na Jadranu te je glavni cilj diplomskog rada bio utvrditi koliki su utjecaj one imale na poboljšanje hrvatskog turizma. Hotelijerstvo je u današnjem svijetu konstantno u ekspanziji i nastupa u skladu s tržišnim trendovima koji se mijenjaju zbog globalizacije i drugih utjecaja. U hotelijerstvo i turizam je potrebno konstantno ulagati i uvoditi inovativnosti kako bi se privukao novi broj turista i zadržao stari. Važno je dobro uskladiti cijenu i kvalitetu kako bi poslovanje bilo održivo i isplativo u budućnosti. Turizam je jedna od djelatnosti koja može osigurati ostvarenje velikog profita ukoliko se dobro razmotre svi rizici i usklade s prilikama. Hotelijerstvo je uslužna djelatnost koja ima jedan od najvećih utjecaja na hrvatski turizam odnosno turizam općenito, pa samim time i utjecaj na ekonomiju u cijelosti. Cilj ovog rada je bio analizirati trendove investicija u hotele na Jadranu u posljednjem desetljeću te identificirati ključne faktore koji potiču investicije u hotele na Jadranu, ali isto tako i istražiti njihov utjecaj na turističku privlačnost Hrvatske.
Abstract (english)
This graduate thesis focuses on investments and tourism in the Republic of Croatia and how profitable and important investments are for the further development of Croatian tourism and the entire economy of the country. Large investments in hotels on the Adriatic were analyzed, and the main goal of the thesis was to determine how much influence they had on the improvement of Croatian tourism. The hotel industry in today's world is constantly expanding and performing in accordance with market trends that are changing due to globalization and other influences. In the hotel industry and tourism, it is necessary to constantly invest and introduce innovations in order to attract a new number of tourists and retain the old ones. It is important to balance price and quality well in order for the business to be sustainable and profitable in the future. Tourism is one of the activities that can ensure the realization of a large profit if all risks are carefully considered and adjusted to the opportunities. Hotel management is a service industry that has one of the biggest influences on Croatian tourism, or tourism in general, and therefore also an influence on the economy as a whole. The aim of this paper was to analyze the trends of investments in hotels on the Adriatic in the last decade and to identify the key factors that encourage investments in hotels on the Adriatic, but also to investigate their influence on the tourist attraction of Croatia.
