Users’ satisfaction with quality in medical rehabilitation is tested on the example of Thalassotherapia Opatija. Since Thalassotherapia Opatija has become a destination for health tourism at its early beginning, it has always had a management strategy in line with European trends as well as high-quality service. In European tenders, the selection criteria are always quality, which is one of the most important factors for success in health tourism. Additional amenities influencing the choice are the pleasant climate, geographical location, and safe destination. The aim of the paper is to analyze the quality of services and customer satisfaction after one month of medical rehabilitation in Thalassotherapia by a study conducted on the example of health service users. There will be discussed problems of the concept of quality and satisfaction, as well as the methods of measuring them with the emphasis on the multidimensional model. Thalassotherapia Opatija is also presented as part of the health tourism system with the specificities of its services. The paper uses a measuring instrument that takes into account the multidimensional nature of the perceived value. The research is conducted through a questionnaire on the needs, wishes, and attitudes of users in medical rehabilitation at Thalassotherapia Opatija. Users evaluate the services, taking into account the benefits they have gained, but also what they have invested in "sacrificing" (monetary and non-monetary) to obtain those services. The results of the research will help the management in defining the quality elements that need to be enhanced with the aim of improving customer satisfaction and continuous advancement of quality in medical rehabilitation in line with market trends.
