The role of the animator is particularly important for the provision and implementation of content, that is, various high quality programs that should result in tourists' satisfaction. Bearing in mind that the animator is a competent trained professional who knows how to adequately meet the needs of tourists, during the implementation of the program he is a person that tourists perceive in different roles - organizer, creator, participant, even a friend. The business skills and abilities of tourist animators are based on practical knowledge but also require engagement, dedication and a set of different qualities. The most important thing for the animator and the animator is to set up a group with the goal of realizing a joint activity that would be attractive enough to attract tourists and encourage them to join the group. Animation services are aimed at achieving the set goals only in the conditions of market valorisation, and in tourism markets with the aim of meeting the needs and motives of tourists. The study was conducted on the example of Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences Zadar (Borik), which includes 3 hotels, namely: Falkensteiner Club Funimation 4 *, Falkensteiner Hotel Adriana 4 * and Falkensteiner Hotel Donat 3 *. The aim of the study was to determine the views of the respondents who stayed at the Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences Zadar (Borik) about their use and satisfaction with the organized animation programs. The survey was conducted between March 6 and March 10, 2020, on a sample of 121 subjects. Regarding the improvement of animation programs at Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences Zadar (Borik), the majority of respondents believe that a larger offer of various animation programs should be organized. In addition to organizing the offer, the respondents emphasize better education of animators and increased quality of animation content. Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences Zadar (Borik) should certainly further enhance the existing offer of animation content, in accordance with the requirements of guests, since tourist animation sells experiences and creates unforgettable memories.
