Camping tourism in the 20th century is the most powerful element of the development of tourism in nature, which determines tourist trips with the motive of active vacation. In addition, modern camping marks the orientation of tourists to peace, chambers, freedom, relaxation with nature and the sea and spending time in an intimate atmosphere for people living in large urban centers and for those living in smaller centers. While some crave fresh air, others do not want to relax in hotels, but tend to continue their vacation without stress and crowds, in a natural environment, for which camps are ideal. Camping tourism in the world and in Croatia makes up over 20% of tourism. Thanks to the diversity of its natural and cultural resources, Croatia has become a very attractive country and the development and offer of camping tourism. Croatian camps are very popular in Europe and beyond for their quality. Blue Lagoon d.d. has been continuously implementing an effective quality management system in the operation of its campsites for many years, where it strives to offer its guests innovative and quality camping services. In this sense, the quality of its camps has been assessed by qualitative factors as a very important segment of achieving success in its tourist offer. Therefore, through the analysis of the quality of the camps of Plava Laguna d.d. Poreč, to show what all affects the quality of camps in general, what Croatian camps own and others do not, what Blue Lagoon camps lack in order to get the highest rating and who and in what way participates and influences the assessment of camp quality. The paper will especially state what the camps consist of, what types of accommodation units there are in the camps together with all the accompanying facilities. At the same time, I will try to show and prove that their users are responsible for the quality of the camps, because it strives to satisfy the wishes of campers and how the effort and investment in quality pays off in the end.
