The science of revenue management, in the age of digital business, is a crucial tool for maximizing and optimizing revenue in the hospitality industry. In addition, travel is increasingly booked through online platforms and it is desirable to have as much personalized vacation as possible, and this requires companies to use adequate marketing and accounting tools to make the right operational and strategic decisions. Campsites are often neglected in the context of tourism literature, although they are known to generate a large share of European and Croatian income in tourism and are gradually becoming a trend and lifestyle. The aim of this paper is to adapt the tools of modern revenue management to camping facilities as well as to study the aspects of revenue management according to which campsites should be oriented through the theoretical and practical parts of this paper. The theoretical part of the paper presents the main characteristics of revenue management and theoretical analysis of camps within tourism, and then both topics are combined into one - revenue management in camps. At the very end, there is a practical analysis related to the attitudes and implementation of revenue management in the Čikat camp, and a comparison of the same with the Krk Premium Camping Resort is processed. This part, in accordance with previously conducted theoretical and research, confirms that there is a gap between different camping facilities and there is a need to raise awareness of the importance of revenue management because only these tools can overcome competition. Also, campsites should pay more attention to OTA sales channels, demand forecasting software and so on.
